MN Valley Night Hike

  • Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge (map)

Daylight is in short supply in winter, however wildlife uses the darkness to their advantage. Join me and a ranger from the Minnesota Valley NWR for a special night hike where where we will listen for signs of life like coyotes, owls or rabbits. If there's snow, we'll use the refuge's snowshoes to hit the trail and look for tracks. If skies are clear, we'll aim a scope at Jupiter and the moons.

You never know what you find at night, but it will be exciting! Space is limited for this free event and registration is required
