In Minnesota we have this very cool event called Give To The Max Day. It is a one day fundraising event for nonprofit organizations in Minnesota where people are encouraged to donate to their favorite organizations and just about anyone I know from birding, wildlife and arts community participates. There's a lot of media and people in this state are incredibly generous. Non-profits also have the chance to double or get their donations matched by various contests with sponsors on Give Mn.

This year, I'm going to help the National Eagle Center with their fundraising efforts by having a Big Day competition against the NEC's Scott Mehus and you'll be able to follow us online! So mark November 14, 2013 on your calendar.
