Anybody want to Big Sit this Sunday?

I organized a smallish Big Sit with my National Park this Sunday at Cold Waterspring from 7:30am to 6:30pm. I'll be there as a Park Ranger hosting with my fellow Ranger Gordon Dietzman as we tally the birds. Feel free to join us for all or only part of the day--we'll even have a tent if it rains. We can use your help to id birds or if you'd like to casually learn about about bird watching and how to identify birds--this is the place to do it.

Afterwards, we'll have a celebratory Birds and Beers at Axel's in Mendota. To learn more, visit here and remember you can come for an hour or you can come all day. This is a casual and fun birding event. We'll be located right next to the parking lot so we should be easy to find. There is a small parking area at Coldwater Spring, but if it's full, you may have to use metered parking.
